The 14th annual Bus Pilots Association family reunion was held this weekend at Ann Morrison Park in Boise. Each year the show gets bigger and better. New for 2008 was live music, an on-site t-shirt vendor, on site remote promotion and giveaways by a local radio station and a great food vendor.
Here are two different articles that ran in the local papers promoting the show. Does that bus look familiar? Yes, it is shameless self-promotion.
We had the most registered participants of any prior year and club revenue increased substantially. The family reunion show is the only money-generating event of the year and earnings from the show fund our club's activities for the balance of the year.
I am no longer the club president, but I created and still manage the club's website, (www.buspilots.com) which is a very busy job in itself.

The Reunion write up was great. It must have been a lot of fun. Did your "Friend" Bruce Willis show up?
It's great to see this event have so much success each year. Next year you'll need to remind the family about it before it happens so we can gawk around as your geeky family.
But really, Congratulations on being a part of something so unique and amazing. It must be vundeerbar.... (..sorry)
